WF16-Quick and Easy

I used plain card stock. I used Vintage Photo distress paint with the paint brush technique. I then sanded the edges of the paper. I then sprayed the paper with Candy apple spray distress ink. I dried it and then inked the edges with ground espresso distress ink and a distress tool. I then decided to add some score lines to make it look more wood like. The first one I scored from the back side every 1/2 inch, the second one I varied the score lines so it wasn't so even. I then took the ground espresso and inked the right side of the paper by pulling the ink pad across the paper from top to bottom.

Thank you for looking.

This definately looks like wood. So cool. They look like they came off an old barn.

Sadie, I love your color combo! Your lines add to the wooden look. I like both of your backgrounds but your free style inking add more interest for me. Thanks for playing and sharing!

I may add score lines to my piece as I am really liking the effect. I am from the mid west and I have a soft spot for red weathered barns.
