WF16-Stand Your Ground- Love

I used a piece of patterned paper that was a light color and had winter words in the background and stamped with a heart and arrow stamp with embossing ink. I embossed with red embossing powder. After I did that I realized that the words were too intrusive so I spread more red embossing ink around, sprinkled on some more red embossing powder and heated that up too. I then cut a heart out of watercolor paper and two out of black cardstock. I stamped the red flower and colored it in with colored pencils. I then stamped the sentiment over the top of the flower. I inked the edge of the heart and pop dotted it onto the two black hearts. I added an enamel star to the U and two red jewels. I mounted the heart background on more black cardstock and then mounted that to the white card base.

Thank you for looking.

very cool, the background looks like it has been sprayed instead of embossed, very cool touch , very sweet

Fun background. The splatters of the extra powder look so neat.

What a great idea for de-emphasizing the pp of the background. I really like how the random bits of embossing powder look. And I like how you flanked the center heart with 2 in black. Great idea.
