WF16CC Casting Call - hot glue casts

I pressed some stamps in to hot glue, some clear glue sticks and some with silver glitter glue sticks.

The angel has some pink mica flakes embedded in it, hard to see, even in person. I trimmed around that one with scissors but I think it would have looked better if I made a nicer puddle of glue and didn't need to trim.

The red and silver heart has red glitter in it. I sprinkled red glitter on my non stick craft sheet, put a puddle of clear hot glue over it and impressed a heart. I should have left it alone! I had silver hot glue in my gun so I flipped the piece over and put silver glue over the back and sides.

My favorites are the plain silver hearts.

I'm not sure why, but the clear glue, and even the silver seemed to get a frosty look where the rubber stamp was pressed. I thought it would remain clear/translucent.

Thanks for the challenge Daniel! This is something I've been meaning to try for years and the silver glue sticks have been hanging around waiting!

Great, Cindi! Yes. Various 'clear' glues react & look different. So 'impressed with your 'glitter added' casts! WTG

Love the shimmer in these, I noticed the same thing once stamping into the glue

Yes, my castings in the stamp also turned frosty!---I too would have preferred clear...the bottoms of mine turned opaque white ...did your! But in spite of it they look great. I could enjoy that strawberry thumbprint cookie cookie in the top row!

I like that you tried to add glitter. I think it looks neat! The heart works perfectly!
