WF16 - NTV Drive By Purple Valentine

I used a Plaid Stencil and sponged milled lavender distress ink over the upper right corner. I then stamped the Pansy (I Brake for Stamps) over this in Versafine Imperial Purple. The Sentiment (Gina K Stately Flowers 5) was also stamped in the same ink.

I did not have any purple paper, so I altered some pink paper with distress inks to make it lavender. I also found some great die cut buttons (I think Sarah sent them to me) and also altered them to be purple and found some baker's twine (American Crafts) to finish it off.

This is wonderful. I like the faint hearts in the background, the die cut buttons, and the image so very much. The entire card is put together so well. TFS

I like the soft stenciling. And that pansy stamp is so pretty. Nice job changing the color of your pink paper. And I think I did send you those buttons because my first thought on seeing them was, hey I have that die too. Very Happy Thanks for playing.

Love the softness you put into this card! I get really tired of the strong read and pink everywhere at this time of year. You really created a beautiful alternative! You are in a fantastic creative groove! Psst-your buttons would fit wonderfully in a matchbox.
