WF-16MG-Flower card

I took a piece of material and used it as the background on this card. I also used material to die cut the flowers. On the flowers I used silver plumbers tape as a backing before cutting out. This is something for the dies to actually cut and it makes the flowers bendable when they are done. The plumbers tape is like tin foil on adhesive. So it sticks well and adds stability and bendability to paper and material. I added a couple rows of fancy material ribbon. And then I thought the colors might be too bright so I gave the whole thing a coat of gesso. I added the little bottom rectangle that has the oxox on it after also coating that with gesso. I then stamped the itty bitty butterfly, dragonfly and the dots on the main background. I also stamped the flowers on the xoxo panel.

Thank you for looking.

This is lovely! I think the added gesso adds to the soft look of this card. I like the tiny stamps over the background a lot and the cool flowers you were able to shape.

Thank you so much for your description of how you worked with the fabric. Gave me some great ideas and I want to remember to try them soon. I love the fabric that you used. Those flowers are so great, with their bendable pedals. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh my goodness that is absolutely stunning, the gesso is a neat touch to it, I would have never thought of that and neat tip about the flowers too to give them dimension!
