Stamping with Eraser

Here I used a very large stamp for my tree image. It came from a friend who lives in England. Many of their cards I received were made with 8.5 x11 paper folded in half. My completed card here is 7.5 x 6.5" I stamped the tree in Old Paper distress ink so I could watercolor areas where I did not use my eraser for adding colorful dots with Kaleidacolor ink pads. The image has knotted tree roots on the top of the ground surface. I had lots of fun water coloring the rest of the image and the surrounding ground.

Beautiful watercoloring. I really like the tufts of grass. Reminds me of a wonderful old apple tree in Upstate New York!
