Poppystamps Arched Poppies & Brushos

I CASED this card from one made by Betty Keefe [https://createdbybjk.blogspot.com/2017/02/poppy-love.html?showComment=1486933940151#c3958332597867608930]. I just realized that I forgot to add the pearls, and my card has already been mailed.

CARD:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Bazzill Cardstock (It matches the Damson Plum ink used to stamp the sentiment.)
FOCAL IMAGE:
Inlay Technique
Poppystamps Arched Poppies
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock
Zig Glue Pen
BACKING:
Brushos (Emerald Green, Ultra Marine, Purple)
Watercolor paper
Art Institute Glue
SENTIMENTS:
Stampin’ Up! Sincere Salutations
Nick Bantock Damson Plum
Sentiment inside of card—Inkadinkado (“All you need is a friend who has chocolate.”)

I’m not sure why the inset piece didn’t fit more precisely into the opening. When I was done, I needed to use an adhesive eraser to clean up the focal image. Thank goodness for that little magic square.

TFL.

How pretty. I really like that you put the flower die cut back in, just leaving the petals and the leaves out.

Oh my, how beautiful. I love the CAS look. The blended colours are awesome.

Gorgeous colors, such a pretty die. I have the same problem with the inlaid technique

Striking! I love the colors and the clean look. I wouldn't worry about the pearls, it doesn't look like it's missing a thing and probably mailed neater too.

This is wonderful! I love that you kept it clean and simple. I admire how you have so much white space showing. I really struggle with that! The inlaid technique works great with this die!
