Distress Oxide - Faux Bleached Look.

Here is one of the many images I stamped recently with the new Distress Oxide inks. I really like this technique to get the bleached look and I did do a tutorial on my blog to show how to do it. It is just a variation on watercolor stamping that you may already do from time to time. The stamp is from Just for Fun Flora and Fauna sheet.

Heidi, I checked out your blog, and I love both of your cards. They are beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial. I had to laugh at your reaction to getting pink when using Fossilized Amber. (Very cool!) I had a similar reaction when I used Regular Distress Walnut Stain and Pumice Stone together and ended up with the most beautiful dusty plum color. TFS. Daria

Such a pretty card. Your faux bleach turned out well. Love the striped paper.

You got nice results from the faux bleaching. I like your bold background ... I have to go see what this is all about too!

Love love love this one! Such a good color combo and the diagonal striped pp is so fun! I think I have this stamp and I think it worked great with your oxide inking!
