Tim Holtz Scribbles Stencil & Distress Oxide Ink--Card 2

I used two more of the backgrounds I made at a friend’s house last week. I’m sure glad we got together because having these backgrounds has made it easy for me to make several quick cards.

When I saw the results of using the brush with the new Distress Oxide Inks, I knew I was in trouble. I only bought three colors to try them out, and I already want more. They have a soft matte finish that I love. I later applied ink with an ink applicator, and that is beautiful too—more vibrant, but still has that wonderful chalky look.

BWT, the brush I used was one of those old ones with the red and white plastic ferrule; it worked just fine.

Cards:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, 110 lb. (card base)
Judikins black cardstock
Bazzill cardstock (blue-green, on second card)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, 80 lb. (focal image)
Tim Holtz Scribbles Stencil
Distress Oxide Inks (Cracked Pistachio, Broken China, Faded Jeans)
Brush (to apply ink, first card) | Ink Applicator Tool (to apply ink, second card)
Penny Black Eloquence Stamp Set (first card) | Paper Smooches Salutations Stamp Set (second card)
Michael Stores Textured Trios Ribbon (first card) | M&J 7/8” Sheer Satin Edge Ribbon (second card)

Love this one too, like how the sheer ribbon works with the backgrounds
