Inky Oils Challenge

Here is my inky oils card. I did not have baby oil so I tried cooking oil and it worked well! I am so surprised how this looks like vellum. I stamped and colored a fish and added a script stamp. I laid my green and blue oily card over the image. There is hardly any blue showing. I used a shell embossing folder on the side and inked it with a sandy color. I added gold and clear microbeads to it and also added a banner and bow. Thanks for the fun challenge! I might make another card later with another piece I made.

That came out fantastic. And a very creative solution for not having baby oil. I really like the you used a fish on the bottom layer. It makes your oiled piece act like the water the fish is swimming in.

Very cool and good to know you can use other oils. The fish looks underwater!
