AIR17 Chill SNowglobe

I used some kraft paper that I had on hand, it is not very heavy so I put the card front on a heavy white card base. I splattered the background using Tim Holtz distress stain picket fence, and Dyan Reavely white linen. I got two very different spray effects out of these two products. I then cut the inside pieces of the houses, trees, and mountains out of white card stock. I colored them using distress ink. I inked the edges with gorund expresso ink.

I marked where the bottom and edges of the snow globe was on the background and started to assemble the houses, trees, and mountains in that area. I then put double foam tape around the edges (did not do this very well since I can see some on the edges). I put some sequins and stampendous shaved ice in a little pile in the center of the houses and then put the globe which I had put a piece of acrylic behind over it.

Sorry for the shine on the acrylic but this is the best picture I could get.....I also forgot to mention that this snowglobe is a Tim Holtz thin die set called snowglobe.

Thank you for looking.

That is such an awesome, detailed scene inside your snow globe. I love the sentiment. Perfect card for a "chill" challenge!
