Monochromatic Santa

I thought this would be an easy "stamp n go" card, but as I could not find any papers that went with the Cornflower ink, I ended up using the inkpad to create the background and the mat. Santa is from Verses (from Daria's collection of Santas) and the sentiment is Hero Arts.

Like the BG effect with this fun image from Daria's Collection! Sentiment pairs well in color and design. TFS

Heidi, this turned out beautifully! I love the background, the way you featured the sentiment in that cool die-cut, and, of course, Santa. TFS. Daria

your background looks fantastic with the santa, you got a perfect match doing it yourself!

I love that technique of dragging an ink pad over an embossed piece. Great idea to make your own matching papers. Santa looks good in blue!

I know the troubles of finding the right DP. I have loads but tend to make my own backgrounds. What you created is just wonderful.

I love the swipes on the background...it feels like it add movement to the falling snow background. Terrific card!
