Dispersing Pinata gold AI

In this alcohol ink class we dripped AI across a AI background, added a high % rubbing alcohol down the center of the dripped path and added drops of Pinata Pure Gold AI down the center. Tilt the card to get the gold to flow along the edge of the dripped color and disperse into smaller droplets. See the gold at the bottom right corner and flowing upwards to the turtle.
Note: due to composition of Ranger's Gold AI Mixative it does not separate in the same manner as the Pinata Ink.

I finished the background by adding 2 diecuts: the turtle and the flourish.

I really love this background and thanks for sharing the technique! Your card is so pretty. We saw 2 sea turtles on the surface of the ocean when we were out fishing this past weekend! Very Happy

Your alcohol inked background turned out great. I love the effect you got from the gold! Super combination of dies and embossing with it!

Lovely card. I like the gold. I do love my Pinata inks a lot. They are so rich and vibrant. Your background looks just like water.

I love the background! That would be a fun one to try. Not sure if any local stores sell the piƱata inks.

This is so cool! I usually don't use my Ranger metallic mixatives because I couldn't get them to disperse, and I'm not a fan of the globs. I need to try this! TFS. Daria
