Alcohol ink with Pinata gold on glossy paper

Playing with alcohol inks and adding gold per Far North's post under Stamping/Products and Tools.
This time I thinned Pinata gold ink with 91% alcohol and added it to my background. I like how this turned out too! A different look than the foil, but pretty.

I tried to use scotch tape (as seen in a youtube video) to mask off borders but was unsuccessful as you can see here! Maybe I didn't burnish enough because it did work on one side, sort of? Good news was that it didn't peel off the surface of the glossy paper.

Ink : Ranger alcohol inks in Teakwood and Mermaid, Pinata Gold
Paper : unknown glossy card stock

This piece does transfer color to my finger when I rub it, kind of powdery, definitely not wet. So maybe it should be sealed? Or maybe I should just quit rubbing it, ha?!

TFL!
