Christmas in July -- Stampendous Pachyderm Presents & Prismacolor Pencils
|
I stared at the stamped images for a long time before tackling one. How to color an elephant? I was extremely cautious at first and the first images were a lot lighter than the later ones. Another difference had to do with the side of the paper I used. I stamped some on the smooth side, and the colors blended very well. The ones I stamped on the rough side had a completely different look due to the paper’s texture (first card). I like both, but I prefer the easy blending afforded by the smooth side. I got braver as I colored; you might notice that the third card is darker than the first two. In the next post, you'll definitely notice that they are considerably darker.
Individual cards are posted in my scrapbook.com gallery. https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/6167893/-1/0/0.html
