SF18 Off Stamp - Tropical

For now, I just made the one background, and I loved how it turned out so I just made it into a card. The stamp is a bamboo background from Just for Fun, but I thought it looked overall tropical. I used 3 oxide inks. Antique Linen, Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint. I did use my stamping platform. I left the stamp as is and moved the paper over a little. I anticipated that I would want to stamp my darkest color last and I think it looks right.

The hibiscus is a stamp layering stamp from Hero Arts, also stamped in all oxide colors, using the spritz of water in between like April’s Technique. I recently got dies for most of my stamp layering sets because I find fussy cutting them to be challenging - for some reason!

I used Nuvo drops. I had forgotten that they would pick up the ink color below, so some are colored and some clear!

This is so pretty! Your background turned out wonderfully and looks great with the hibiscus stamps. As always, I really like the layout of your card. The nuvo drops are a fun touch.
