Poppies

Jan sent me this beautiful stamp as a RAK for winning her challenge. I had fun playing with it some more.
I colored the rubber with Tombow markers, misted and stamped on watercolor paper. After the image dried, I blended the color out with a damp water brush. The table is just a few lines drawn with Tombow markers blended with a wet brush. I cut a mask for the image and masked the table top, then sponged distress ink through a stencil for the "wallpaper". I used a ball stylus and sparkly black paint to dot the middles of the poppies.

Stamp : Unity Happy Moments
Ink : none, used Tombow markers direct to rubber
Stencil : Jenni Bowlin Pointed Star
Paint : Finnabair Art Alchemy Sparks in Raven Black

I thought sparkly paint might be less messy than glue and glitter for the poppy centers. haha! When I removed the seal from the jar of paint, I got splattered! Nice try.

Thanks again Jan for the wonderful stamp set!
