Memory Box Reverse Butterfly Collage Die

I made the Pillow-Top backgrounds a very long time ago after watching a Gina K. video. After experimenting a bit, I decided I liked the lines to be closer together, and I preferred softer colored inks. These were some of the first pieces I made—with bright colors and lines far apart. I also die-cut the butterflies a long time ago. I’m glad I finally made some cards using both.

Pillow-Top Technique:
Gina K.’s Video: http://stamptv.ning.com/video/pillow-top-background

Some tips from me: https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/5669661/-1/0/0.html

CARDS:
4 ¼ x 5 ½
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock (card base)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock (Pillow-Top Technique)
G-Rated Textured Glossy Cardstock (front piece)

Memory Box Reverse Butterfly Collage Die
Shaded Lilac Distress Ink (Pillow-Top Technique)
Recollections Pearl Stickers

I also made two more, using Distress Faded Jeans and Distress Mustard Seed to make the Pillow-Top Backgrounds. They are posted in my scrapbook.com gallery.

Wow, the Pillow Top Technique works very well with your butterflies. Such a pretty colour too.

I think you taught us the pillow top technique as a challenge during one of our fests. It is so dainty and pretty behind the butterflies. Way to put together pieces from your pre-made stash Idea

Very pretty, this die cut really tones down the bright colors. I like the sheen too.
