Stocking ornament on Christmas Card

This is the ornament I created for an ornament swap on another board. I embossed red craft metal (very thin) with one of cuttlebug's first embossing folders. Sanded most of the red off the high areas. Then cut the stocking shape out of craft foam w/sticky back Attached sticky onto the back of metal and turned the small excess metal edge along the side of stocking to form a finished edges. Colored edges with red sharpie as needed. Added embellishments-note the beads at the toe are actually clear. Punched small hole and added ribbon to hang on tree. Cut out another paper stocking shape and attached as a finished back-signed and dated. Attached stocking to card base and added sentiment inside.

This is really a pretty ornament. I can imagine how the craft metal will reflect the light when hung on the tree. Lovely job.

What a great idea to use metal for your ornament. It turned out fantastic! Pretty ink blending on your card too.
