Alcohol Ink

Yesterday I mentioned in the chat that I was trying to challenge myself to use an alcohol ink background I made previously. These are the two cards I was able to finish!

Supplies:
Card 1: Gina K Designs Whimsical Spring stamps set, Purple Onion Designs Sentiment, Memento and Versafine Black inks, Avery Elle Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies, Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.
Card 2: Impression Obsession Birch tree die set, Purple Onion sentiment, Versafine Onyx Black ink, Sizzix Poinsettia embossing folder, Spellbinders Fancy Edge Rectangle dies

They are beautiful Heidi! I like the use of the Wonky stitches ... reminiscent of a butterfly trail. I love the coloring on the two birds. Are they dies? Also love the layouts with the little bit wider borders at the bottom.

Nicely done. I tend to just use die cuts over those colorful background. Cause I don’t want to cover up much of it.

great use of the backgrounds on both cards, love your scene of the birds with the trees and pretty dimensional look to the butterflies too

I'm so glad you used your backgrounds. I have a stack of different backgrounds that I need to use. It is so much fun to make them. Then I forget to use them. Your cards are beautiful. TFS. Daria
