Watercolor scenes made in Art Impressions class, Adventures in Stamping

I learned a lot in this class, but I need a lot of practice! We received one square card base for the wreath and several printed papers to use with the other paintings to complete cards. I think the earth is slanting to the right because the water seems deeper that way, haha! I also need work on my skies. My sentiment didn't stamp solidly (stamped with markers and no positioner). I'm hoping I can go over it with a wet brush and even it out. The teacher also suggested adding Wink of Stella to the flowers once we got home ... still need to do that. So this class inspired me to buy the basic flower, foliage , and branch stamp sets and I also chose the little girl set ... but remember, we got great coupons in class! Heidi gave me a nice set in a RAK, and we were given an exclusive set in class ... so I have lots of watercoloring to do!
TFL!

I love them all. I didn't think I needed to buy the people stamp sets, but I think the little girl card is my favorite. I have that truck, and it is also a contender for favorite card; I've never seen it done this way, and I love it. Your wreath turned out beautifully. If you don't like the sentiment, you could always punch or die-cut a circle, edge it with ink or a skinny mat and pop it up. It will look like you meant to do that all along. The flowers in the urn are lovely. TFS. Daria

All of these are wonderful! I don't think you need to touch up the saying in the wreath. It looks just fine and blends well with the wreath. Very Happy

Oh wow, these all look fantastic! I think the sentiment looks good, too. And I like the sepia one a lot. I have no idea how to do that. You have gotten off to a great start!
