Creative Challenge - Chalk Backgrounds

Thanks for the challenge, April!
I don't have chalks, so I was wondering what I could rub over Versamark ... and I went with Perfect Pearls.
I stamped Hero Arts Chalkboard Pattern background with Versamark ink and then dusted with mint and berry Perfect Pearls. I stamped over that with Rubbernecker wild garden border and Memento Luxe Nautical Blue ink. I used a SU punch on the SU sentiment and adhered with dimensional foam. Embellished with a dragonfly (EK) punched from origami foil paper and Hero Arts pearls.

ETA : The background stamp is a woodblock stamp from Hero Arts called Checkerboard Pattern Background (not chalkboard!). It is from 2001 and I don't see it currently on the Hero Arts website. Do know it does not cover a complete card front if you go searching for it!

I love that background! I went looking for the stamp, and it's as if it doesn't exist. Is it an old one? The colors and card design are wonderful. TFS. Daria

Very good idea to use the perfect pearls. I like that background in soft colors! The flowers stand out nicely!
