Creative Expressions Bluebird & Serendipity Background

Thank you, Nora, for sending me these die-cuts.
I spent way too much time looking for compatible cardstock for the card bases.
These are birthday cards—one for my daughter and one for one of my sisters.

Both Cards:
6 ¼ x 4 ½ inches (A-6 card)
Backgrounds—Serendipity Sheets
Creative Expressions Paper Cuts Collection, Bluebird Edger Die
Swarovski Elements Nail Art (SS05 & SS07), black (bird’s eye)
Gina K Designs Connect Glue

Inserts: (not posted here)
PSX sentiment stamp
Wink of Stella (gold on 1st card, clear on 2nd card)

Card 1:
Serendipity Background: https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/4940193/-1/576/0.html
Gina K Designs Night of Navy Base Weight cardstock (card base)

Do you guys remember when we made these? I think it was the first challenge I offered on Two Peas. It took on a life of its own. So much fun. Can you believe we did that fifteen years ago? And I still have pieces. lol.

1st Serendipity Sheet:
All papers from the inside of envelopes pasted with Perfect Paper Adhesive
Swirl stamps--Inkadinkado, compass and sextant--PSX, world--Non Sequitur all stamped with Versamark and embossed with platinum EP. FYI: The Stampa Rosa Filigree Platinum EP is a very pretty subtle pale gold; the Ranger Platinum EP is a beautiful liquid platinum color. You can't really appreciate the differences in the scan.

TFL.
Daria

P.S. I'm not posting the insert here--not worth taking up another post, but it is posted on my scrapbook.com gallery since I can put all three photos in one post there.

Oooh, I love this one too! It looks great with that background. I bet the platinum embossing is really pretty in person. Such cool envelope insides!
