Tim Holtz/Sizzix Prehistoric

I made this card for my nephew’s third birthday. He loves dinosaurs and can even name them. He was so excited to get a dinosaur card and recognized Stegosaurus and Brontosaurus on the front and was thrilled to find Tyrannosaurus Rex on the inside. The last one was just the simple outline.

Card:
4 x 9 3/8 inches
(Next time, I'll make it 9 ¼ inches long. The card went into the envelope easily; it was almost impossible to get it back out.)
Neenah Environmental Desert Storm cardstock (card base)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock
Avery Elle Party Numbers Die Set

Background:
Paper Inspirations P6072, Ripple Stone Background, stamped with Distress Ink, Antique Linen
Stampa Rosa M7-855 (tree) stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia

Dinosaurs:
Sizzix/Tim Holtz Prehistoric die set
Core’dinations/Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Nostalgic Collection cardstock
Sanding Block and Ranger Sander
Ranger Adirondack Mushroom dye ink

I can see why your nephew loved this! Such a great background for the dinosaurs and they are really cool themselves with the distressing and inking.

I love the stamped background and the wonderful colors and textures on the die cut dinos. What a great job.
