Spellbinders Circular Stitch Background

I made nine of these. When I used the Brushos, I used all the reds I had. The flowers turned out too pink. I should have left out the Rose. The Crimson I used to darken it up just sat in purplish clumps; it didn’t dissolve. I used Kuresake watercolors to alter the color. In the future, I’ll experiment with the Brushos to make sure they are still good and to figure out the colors. I don’t like the leaves in this die set; I had planned to cut it up and just tuck a few leaves under the flower. However, the flower looked better with the green background to set it off from the stitched die-cut.

So pretty! I love the DMC perle you used. The red cardstock and poinsettia match nicely. Who knew Brushos could go bad?
