Happy Birthday

I made this card for my daughter's boyfriend. He's one of the family! It is made on a long envelope card base I cut with my Silhouette. You can see the inside here http://www.duhnproductions.com/Pics/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pid=622#top_display_media
The brightly colored piece was made with alcohol inks on glossy paper. I didn't feel like the "Birthday" part of the sentiment showed up well enough so I went over the center of the letters with my Versamark pen (inspired by Djcs The Shadow Knows inktoberfest challenge). I just didn't think white pen stitching would have fit in this case; I think the Versamark helped. TFL!

Oh yes, that does make a difference with the versamarker, doesn't it! Very cool background!

I'll say! The addition of the VersaMark ink made a huge difference. Looks great. Thanks for another example of how to use that marker. The tag is wonderful. I like the brightcolors on that gray background. TFS. Daria

That background is so freakin cool. And what a great idea, using the Versamarker on the sentiment. Great card.

I like that background a lot. It looks like the pen on the birthday is so even, that alone is a trick for me. Thank you for sharing.
