Starting Point, Paper Towel Stamping and Mixed Media Challenges

This combination of challenges seemed to be an easy fit until I took my first step of selecting 2 embellishments including 1 current style punched snowflake from a coke can and 1 printed paper vintage corner trim. Lesson learned--if you do have not used an embellishment in years perhaps there is a good reason.

I die cut my acrylic skin into usable pieces-the flourish, holly leaf and berries. Use of these pieces on an A2 card does not provide much space for flexibility of the layout.

Finally I stamped on my paper towel stamped background with 5 different stamps.

Oh my, it is obvious to me my mind does not naturally take to this reverse method of creating a card. Thanks Sadie, April and Sarah for the great challenges!

I think you did a great job working in reverse. That coke can snowflake is really cool and I just love what you did with your acrylic skin. The background came out great. Thanks for playing.

Your background is so soft and pretty! I love the little corner piece, although I can see how it can be hard to use. The skin pieces are really interesting and I really like the placement of the holly and berries and the snowflake around the flourish. I haven't tackled this challenge yet! You did it proud!
