Wax Crayon Resist Challenge-OCT
|
Wax Crayon resist-
Smaller Butterfly Card-I followed April’s instructions: stamped image in permanent black ink on glossy card stock. Filled in and colored some areas on the image with a crayon including designs within the inked areas. Brayer over the entire piece with Kaleidacolor Spectrum dye inkpad. Wipe ink of waxed areas. Basic Gray stamp.
Larger butterfly Card- Changes I made after 1st card: The ink did not brayer on my paper evenly without saturation with color…I tried different inkpads and brayer and finally decided to use distress inks. I broke my crayon to get a sharp edge to color fine line details. I found it was helpful to make a specific plan for the order of crayon coloring so I did not miss areas. Card base is created with an embossing folder, inked and colored with Viva’s Gold Pearl Pen.
Thanks April for hosting the challenge!
