Christmas in July . Hark the Herald on Glassine

I stamped three of the same image on Tim Holtz Kraft Glassine paper in Archival ink. I used a ball stylus from the back side to lighten the angel wings (similar to the way vellum turns white when you pressure emboss it). One is matted on DCWV gold glitzy glitter paper. The others were die cut and mounted over a piece gessoed with TCW Shimmering Gold Gesso. I used an old hotel card to scrape the gesso over natural cardstock.

Stamp : Lost Coast Designs Herald Angels
Paper : Neenah Natural White 110lb, Tim Holtz Kraft Glassine, DCWV glitzy glitter gold, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas patterned paper.

These are wonderful! I have some TH Kraft Glassine paper, but I didn't know you could lighten it that way. Very cool. Thank yu for the idea and for playing. Daria

those are gorgeous, I didn't know that is what happens when you press on the glassine paper, I have some of those envelopes, will have to try that out!

I’m not sure I even knew you could stamp on glassine paper. These look great, the style of the stamp looks wonderful in this vintage look.

Such an interesting effect with the glassine paper. I have never tried this, and now you have me motivated. Beautifully done! TFS
