Oh, that is such a neat stencil and it works so well with this technique. It does kind of look like woodgrain, which is neat because I see it is supposed to be sea and sky. Really great job!

I like the edges of your stenciled area too! To me it reminds me of branches the birds might be using to build a nest. I love the fonts on your birthday sentiment.
