Penny Black Field of Dreams / Cuttlebug Traffic Jam

Nora and I got together a few years ago and made a bunch of backgrounds using this technique. This is the first time I’ve used any of them.

CARD:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
International Paper Opaque Digital White, 120-lb cardstock (card base, I think)

Background:
2 ¾ x 4 inches
Fabriano Artistico Extra White watercolor paper
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Traffic Jam
Distress Ink, Rusty Hinge and Aged Mahogany

I Inked the embossing folder on the side the design is recessed so that the background is inked not the raised image. I misted it with water and pressed watercolor paper onto the inked design. I did not emboss it.

Focal Image:
Penny Black Die, Field of Dreams
Die-cut three times (two from 120-lb cardstock and once from Fabriano Artistico Extra White watercolor paper so it would match the background.

Inside of Card:
PSX D-1813, “May all your wishes come true.”

TFL.

I love the way you put this card together. Clean and simple. Needs nothing more.

What a pretty background. It looks great with this die cut.
