A Splash of Fall

Here the Happy Mail card I sent Jan. I had been trying another splatter technique when I saw how my Distress stains were looking when I pounced them on my craft mat. I loved the look. So I pulled out a piece of heavy vellum and placed it on top of the splatters, lifted it off and let the splatters air dry. The splatters are on the under side of the vellum on the card. I had fun playing. Thanks, Jan!

April's card IRL is really beautiful. Splotching the ink stains on a craft mat is a great idea. And adding them to vellum certainly added depths to the background. Also love your sentiment stamped on the circle shape. Thanks for playing and sharing!...Jan

The background is so neat. I did not know that the distress stain would dry so nicely on the vellum. The leaf stamp is so cute! Love the little circle sentiment too!

Very nice with those splatters. It jumps right out of the gallery at me.

Love how vibrant this card is! The splatters on the vellum is such a neat look! The pretty leaf on top and twine really tie it all together, great card Smile
