June Rose Challenge

I made this batik image at our June local stamp meeting using Color Bursts. I just made it into a card for this challenge. Thanks for the fun challenge!

Love how your frame and image complement one another. Beautiful color burst results. Did I miss you description of how you did the batik technique...please share.

Wow, those color bursts are amazing! Most of the time I see a more speckled look with those, but I like this very fluid look a lot. What a pretty rose and corners.

here is the batik technique. On watercolor paper stamp and clear emboss an image. Tap a few sprinkles of 2-3 colors of color bursts over the piece and spritz with water. Let dry. Use paper bag to place over the image and iron off the embossing powder to leave a white image. You can color the piece using watercolors, ink blending, etc. but I used color bursts on this one.

Yes! I have color bursts and I need to try this! Thanks for sharing. Your colorful background and the way you die cut it highlight the pretty rose stamp.
