Birthday card for my aunt.

I'm so glad we have our fests here on Artsy Inkers! One of the challenges provided me with this stenciled flower. It was made with marbled shaving cream that was picked up and scraped over a stencil. Today all I had to do was decide how to mat it and stamp a sentiment.

The sentiment is Hero Arts. Inside I stamped a candle and "and many more". I about ruined the card when I added gold wink of stella to the candle flame. It made a big blob! It looks a little quirky, but I saved it by outlining the blob with a fine tip black pen in the shape of a flame, and then outlining the candle a little bigger to match. The yellow paper has a texture to it, it was from an 8x8 pad I think.
Fiskars border punch.

Such a pretty way to finish off the flower. I love that textured yellow paper! Haven’t seen anything like it before! Glad you could fix the inside!

I like how you added the colors in your matting to bring out the colors in your flower, so pretty

This is so beautiful. I can't take the smell of shaving cream--even the unscented stuff. I wonder if I could do the same thing with embossing paste. After seeing your card, I think it is worth a try! TFS. Daria
