Technique-Spotlighting die cuts Design by The Paper Cut
This card spotlights the dragonfly die cut with an alcohol inked background. Begin the background with inking in the center of Yupo cardstock using various brown alcohol inks-teakwood and caramel. Then add espresso. Keep blotting the Yupo to achieve small bubbles if desired. Using a clean felt with a few drops of patina and pool cover the outer edge of the background. Lightly blot the edge to create small bubbles.
Papers used: YUPO, Desert Mirrisparkle, Champaign Metallic, Lagoon Stardream-A2 card base
Die Cuts: Dragonfly Frame by Impression Obsession

I love love love this alcohol ink idea of using one main color in the center and a frame of color around it. Really gorgeous!

This really is pretty! The colors are perfect for cat tails! You were able to capture a great picture of the sparkle and shine too. You always make nice projects in your Paper Cut classes.
