Rubbernecker Flower #7 die & HA Large Lotus Pattern Stencil--The Stamped with Stencil Version

CARD:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
International Paper Accent Opaque Digital, 120-lb. white (card base, die-cut flower)
Penny Black Special Wishes Stamp Set (sentiment)
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Gina K. Designs Connect Glue

BACKGROUND:
Fabriano Extra White 140-lb hot-press watercolor paper
Hero Arts Large Lotus Pattern stencil
Distress Inks
Spellbinders Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles, S5-308

I stenciled the brighter and darker card a while back. From the looks of it, I think I must have spritzed it with water. The other background was made by misting the left-over ink that was on the stencil after making the first background and stamping that onto another piece of watercolor paper. I like the lighter one best.

When stamping with a stencil, it is easier to remove the stencil if you place the cardstock on an acrylic block. That way you can lift the stencil off easily, something I picked up from a Loll Thompson tutorial, Stenciling with Brushos.

FOCAL IMAGE:
Rubbernecker Flower #7 DIE (5175-07D) (doubled)
International Paper Accent Opaque Digital, 120-lb. white

I die-cut multiple times and layered two of the die-cuts together using Gina K Designs Connect Glue.

Wonderful cards! The backgrounds are beautiful! I'm leaning toward the brighter one, but they are both beautiful. I really like how you added the inner border that is not punched out.
