Happy Mail: Swiping Oxide Inks with CC

M y original 2 cards for this technique were posted with the swap announcement. Unfortunately the photos of the 3 backgrounds are currently missing. The photo on the left shows I had some issues dragging the cc over the cardstock. However I ended up like the random pattern it developed with a nice amount of white space. To create a card I added some flower diecuts and used Pentels new metallic/glitter pens...I really like them except for the red pen did not show up as much as the metallic. The card on the right was made on glossy cardstock. For the bottom I cut strips of glossy paper that I swiped with black Oxide Ink for an artsy look.

Yes, nice amount of white space and wonderful glitter! I love the drops on the card to the right. Very pretty! Your die cuts are really delicate. Were these done on glossy cardstock, or regular?

very pretty, I had some white space on mine too, the dies look great against it

Left card is made on plain cardstock while the right one is made on glossy. It dried seconds after swiping. The dots on that one were flicked oxide inks. At the bottomare layered strips of black distress oxide ink swiped onto glossy cardstock to add my artsy touch. TFL!

I like the look you got on that first background. I also like the plaid you created on the second one. I need to reread the thread. I thought that the Distress Oxides did not dry on glossy cardstock. Daria
