INK17 Pearls #1

I made my background using Adirondack Dimensional Pearls (I think these are an old product that was around before Liquid Pearls). I put my hand in a sandwich bag, pounced it in the pearls, and then pounced on paper.
The Dimensional Pearls worked fine for this technique, however they were a little too liquid, bleeding out when I tried them through a stencil. I blended 3 shades of blue distress inks over the pearls.

Stamps are Purple Onion stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and embossed with silver EP (I got a better image with the Versafine than I was getting with Versamark). I watercolored the bells with Yasutomo irridescent watercolors and the ribbon with regular watercolor. I watercolored the focal piece background, die cut and edged with distress ink to match the pearl resist background.

Thanks for another fun challenge Jan!

This is very bright and cheery! I like your background and the great bell stamp. I may have to wander over and put the bell in my cart!
