playing with Elegant Writer Pen

I was working on Sarah's challenge and an idea I have, but I had to stop and take a photo mid way here and show....just incase it doesn't make it to the end, b/c I like the result right now. lol! But I need to follow thru and see if my idea works...I can always make another one, right?

I am showing the stamp that I stamped onto watercolor paper and then added scenery with the elegant writer pen aswell as adding leaves to the stem of the flower stamped and also outlining a line here and there in the stamp to help with shading. Then I used my water brush and painted away.

I am still learning to use this pen how I want, but I do want to add the tip that's helped me, is to have a paper towel or old rag to the side, b/c when the ink starts getting dark, you can wipe the waterbrush on the rag to take some of the ink off the bristles--b/c it's not going to get lighter the more you brush it! This helps with small leaves not turning absolutely black!

TFL!

That is really pretty just like that! I think this technique with the Elegant write is a really great and novel way to stretch your stamps!

I love the results you are getting with the pen! This is gorgeous! (Smart move to take a pic now, haha!) I also love that you were not afraid to draw in extra leaves. Your background scenery is beautiful too.

I'm not too familiar with this pen, but I love your results!
