Birthday Card

Have had this piece from long ago, and finally decided to put it into this card. Applied distress inks to craft mat and misted with water. Stamped images on craft mat, then onto card stock. Adhered punched border to piece (EK), and adhered to patterned paper. Embellished with flowers and twine. Butterfly image: Savvy Stamps. Other: Hero Arts.

Very pretty. I have to say I have not tried doing the stamping with distress inks the way you described. You got lovely results and I like the scalloped border a lot!
