Children fishing

When I read about this challenge I realized I hadn't used this stamp for a few years and it's one of my favorite summer stamps. It reminds me of the hours I spent as a kid learning to skip stones across the water...oh what wonder times...those where perfect summer days!

This stamp by 100 Proof Press is a long one almost a full 5.25". I stamp it by laying my paper on top of it. I had a couple empty spots with this image but was able to fill with a few wispy lines.

I found one of the watercolor background we made at the beginning of last July by misting Kaleidacolor ink on a brayer. I love how well it worked for this stamp. I mounted it on a handmade natural paper. I embellished with twine using Matte Medium to glue at the top and bottom of the image. TFL!

Amazing the memories we remember when making cards. It definitely a twofer - a memory and a beautiful card. I never learned to skip a rock.

It's a shame I don't participate in challenges; you make it look so fun. Love your line work. What a brilliant idea.

Beautiful! I love the BG paper too--I think it's a great accent to the water feature. So cool you used your watercolor BG.
