Summer Challenge #3: Sailboat

Distress ink: Broken China, Faded Jeans
Inkadinkado Sailboat Sketch
Gina K Designs sentiment:
Versamark ink and clear embossing powder
Canson XL 140lb watercolor paper

I first embossed the sentiment with clear powder. I used a dry on dry technique to use the Distress inks as a watercolor paint to create the brush stroke water.

I inked my focal image stamp with both Distress inks. I then spritzed the water into the air and moved my stamp into it before stamping. I blended out parts of the sail with my waterbrush.

Love the way you produced the sentiment. Nice masculine card. We are always in the need for inspiration for them, so thanks for the inspiration.
