Ann's Sept. Challenge - AS stamps

Some of favorite architectural structures blend with nature. My eye had been on this Artistic Outpost stamp of a covered bridge for years.

I have fond childhood memories of having a fall picnic near a similar looking covered bridge before my family would head off to the annual pumpkin patch adventure.

It was definitely time to ink up this stamp and water color the image. Accents were added with acrylic paint for added texture. I punched the maple leaf from an alcohol ink scrap. The background was stamped with SU boardwalk stamp.

Thanks for looking!...Jan

Beautiful. I love covered bridges and they are definitely a Architectural structure. You reminder me that covered bridges and light houses are also AS. Thanks so much for taking this challenge and opening up my mind to all the different AS.

Wonderful, such a lovely scene you have colored, I like the addition of the leaf and the wood background. I like how stamps can remind us of a time or place we once knew

Very nice! Your coloring is wonderful. I love the additions of the corner mounts. Ive had this stamp in my wish list, there's another one similar to it that I can't decide between the two!
