Color Burst Valentine

I went to Stamp Fest last weekend and bought a set of Ken Oliver's Color Burst watercolor powders. I've had fun playing with them, painting, sprinkling, and spritzing!

The heart scene is a SU stamp, clear embossed to resist the watercolors. I used the matching piercing template to pierce holes around it and did some faux stitching with a Uniball Signo Broad white pen (another Stamp Fest purchase).

The sentiment (says Katie & Co., I think it was a dollar stamp?) was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossed. I painted in the heart with color burst. TFL!

What a beautiful result from the colour bursts. I just bought two packages. I like the bottom left coerner and how the colour bursts blended there.

Very pretty! I like the way this looks over the embossed portions.
