New Year Challenge

I used several new and old items on my card. The birds and swirl branch are new gently used Judikins stamps. The stencil I used is new. I found the kraft card stock in my stash that already had the embossed "smile" on it. The charm corners and flowers are old items.

I stamped the images on the kraft cs and then sponged around the images with white pigment ink. I then colored using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. This way the colors showed up better than just coloring right on the kraft cs.

Those birds look so fluffy and cute! Sponging with white really helps them stand out. This card is such a pretty assemblage of old and new.

Outstanding work The stenciling is done so well. Love the chipboard "smile". The birds are too cute.

This is such a charming card. Until I read the description, I thought you'd used colored pencils on the birds. You did such a wonderful job coloring them. I love the vintage elements. TFS. Daria
