You are the World

I'm ahead of the game and got my Mother's Day card made. This is how I did it:

Painted thin coat of Gesso over a bold printed designer paper on 100 lb cardstock. Once driy I sponged on pink ink over top of the flowers. Then I added a coloured flower and sentiment. I put my cardstock into my Misti so I could get a crisp sentiment.

This is lovely. I have been wanting to try gesso over patterned papers. Daria (djc) suggested that I try it with the shiny papers that Gina K sells. Some of them are okay shiny, but for the most part I prefer a matte finish.

Beth, this is so beautiful, and the sentiment is wonderful. TFS. Daria

That makes such a cool effect going over the paper with the gesso, love your added flower and great sentiment!

This is so pretty, and perfect for Mother's Day! The pink inking over the gesso is a nice touch.
