Alcohol Ink Class project

I think this card is my favorite of the bunch.
We worked on the back side of Kirkland photo paper (the glossy photo side would absorb the ink quickly, not allowing it to move). The top right corner of the photo paper was cut with a Tim Holtz die. I used a combination of techniques. Pouncing ink with a felt ink applicator and blending solution and in other areas dripping the ink straight to the paper, adding blending solution and blowing on it to get it to flow. We were given the mermaid stamped on white paper. I colored her with pencils, fussy cut and added stickles. She is mounted with foam dots over hte sparkly mesh ribbon.

Ranger Alcohol inks
Pinata Gold alcohol ink

This card is A6 size.

TFL!

this is my favorite of them all too, great coloring, you know I have never dropped AI directly onto my paper, and interesting to use the backside of the paper too.
