Memory Box Toulouse Background Die & Polished Stone

This is a birthday card for a friend.

CARD: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Judikins cardstock, black (base)

BACKGROUND:
Polished Stone Technique
Judikins white glossy cardstock (polished stone piece)
Adirondack Alcohol Inks, twice as much Cloudy Blue and Willow as Aqua

FOCAL IMAGE:
Aspire Petallics 105 lb Cover, Black Ore (die cut)
Memory Box Toulouse Background die (Thank you, Nora for sharing this with me.)
I layered two die cuts together. It’s amazing how much better it looked with a double thickness.
Zig 2 Way Glue Pen, Squeeze & Roll (for the first layer of die cut)
Zig 2 Way Glue Pen, Chisel Tip (for the second layer)
I liked the Chisel Tip best. It lays down a minimum of glue and doesn’t squeeze out around the die cut at all.

Wink of Stella, Clear (on the flower portion of the die cut)
This didn’t make too much difference since the cardstock was already shimmery.

TFL.

Gorgeous! I love the bold black image over the soft background.

That background is gorgeous. And the black die really pops against that background. Lovely.

Wow! I'm in awe! This is beautiful ... and when I read that you glued two layers of teeny, tiny diecut together ... I'm impressed! Love it!
