Oldies Embossing Challenge - Watercolor Poppies

I used the technique described in the September oldies challenge to create th background with a Darice Poppy embossing folder. I then created a pool of multicolor ink on my work surface with ink and water (Distress Broken China, Mowed Grass and Dusty Concord) and smooshed the paper onto it and let dry. I filled in a couple spots with my white gel pen.

Stamp is Gina K, Versafine Smokey Grey ink. I layered the panel with textured cardstock.

I realy like that dance poppy folder. And your work is lovely too. The music background reminds me of the music of the seasons. Thank you for sharing.

Pretty background! Your embossing came out so nice. The flowers look stamped, and I guess that is what we really are doing, stamping with our folders. I like your background mounted on white too.
