Bargello pieces

I cut two samples from the bargello piece I made and one of the pieces had a corner cut out of it, but at that point in time, that bargello had been my favorite so I used with the corner out of it. Now I like both really well.

I don't think one can see the heat embossing and how unsatisfactory it looks---it was the one I asked if EP can "go bad". But I have left it to decide how to cover it up when I use the card front.

The other piece, I stamped the birds (Stampendous) and then used my Cameo to cut it out and then colored. The bird IRL are not as wild blue as they show up on my screen. lol!

Forgot one thing--I was envisioning the bargello that is behind the birdie stamp to be the "sky", "hills", and "sun".

These are both so beautiful. I love the frame surrounding the Bargello piece, and I lvoe those birds on the second piece. Beautiful work. TFS. Daria

PS, I cannot see the embossing powder area well, but I believe you. I would try it on another type of cardstock first (sometimes it is the card stock that matters) before throwing it out though.

I really like both cards and am impressed that you did 2. Wow. Beautiful colors and I agree about the birds and framing, but I also like the Hello piece on the top one. Great job. TFS

These are beautiful and you did such a great job with the tehnique. I am like you and have a hard time placing my stamping. The birds look great with the background where you placed them. Thanks for doing my challenge!

I can't see the EP but did you thump too much off? I like the blue color of the birds on my screen but probably would like your color IRL too! LOL-I thought the bargello was the music the birds were singing!

Those die cuts are really cool. The colors/ patterns you used for the bargello are beautiful. A lovely set of cards.
